Rebekah & Collins | A vintage inspired day

Rebekah & her Irish husband Collins, currently live in Ireland. It was Rebekah’s wish to get married in her home-town - Leongatha. So, Collins happily agreed and over they came with Collins family.

The two married in Leongatha’s beautiful Catholic Church. The weather was a typical Aussie summer day - the sun shining brightly on Rebekah.

In the week leading up to their wedding day I met Rebekah. I instantly felt at ease with her - she was happy & very excited. She took me to her parents’ farm where she grew up - this is where our location photos would take place. She noted out her favourite things, things she wanted to capture on her wedding day so she could physically take her favourite memories back to Ireland with her. It was the most beautiful property - the hills rolled on forever, the fragrance was crisp and fresh & the sound, silent.

The first time I met Collins was at the altar! He gave me a little nervous smile, posed for a quick photo and then turned his head toward the front doors of the church. Rebekah’s emotional entrance was a piece of the day I won’t ever forget. I heard someone say “Oh, look at her dress” and the other “Oh, she’s crying”. It was just perfect. And, the groom’s first glace at his bride-to-be is always priceless.

After the ceremony, we gathered everyone for a group photo, organised some formal family shots and then wandered over to the property. Again, it was how I remembered it in the week before the wedding... nothing had changed, although now I had an ever so in love couple in front of me! We only spent about an hour walking around the farm, but that was plenty of time. We captured so many different photos - these are just a few of our favourites.

Rebekah and Collins shoot back to Ireland soon... I do hope to see them again, thanks so much for allowing us to be apart of your special day x

Rebekah made her own head piece and bouquet & also inspired some of her guests to wear their own head pieces!

The old farm house was full of memorable pieces...so much history!

Rebekah with her proud father

It was a little hard to get a smile out of Rebekah's little helper Royce - but check out his beaming smile here!

The church was the perfect place for Rebekah and Collins

One of my helpers managed to get Rebekah's entrance for behind, as I focused on the front & Collins...

Groom's first glance at his bride-to-be, always priceless!

There's one of those head pieces!

Gorgeous little girls... Rebekah's family was quite big and there was an endless amount of cute kids running around

Everyone in!

A ride in style - Rebekah's brother's dark green Ford - stunning!!

A moment alone with the groom while Bek wandered off to get some more comfortable shoes

Ah, the comfy shoes!

Look at the view!

I think the rest of these photos speak for themselves...
