as the sun sets over the farm

Sam, who is Tim's partner, contacted me a while ago and asked us to come out to take some family shots on the farm. We'd organised a time a few weeks ago, but the weather was against us and we had to post-pone.

Finally the time came and we wandered out to this family's farm in the evening, just as the sun was setting down . . . Perfect time for photos!

These siblings were heaps of fun. They were full of laughter and they made our job easy!

all smiles

Little Oliver made me smile. Every time I called out his name he'd give a little chuckle. He was so sweet.

I photographed Jeanne and Michael's wedding (way back!) and it was lovely to finally catch up with them again and meet their newest member to their family. I think he's a real mix of the two of them and it's so beautiful to see just how happy this little family is.

Enjoy these pictures, I know they make me feel happy!

lovely little packages

One thing I love most about shooting weddings is the end part. The part when all the editing is done, the slideshows are finished and all the little things come together, packaged up and are ready to be sent. I just can't wait for our clients to see their wedding pictures, I may even be a little more excited than they are!

This year we've introduced our dvd presentation books - they're featured in all of our standard wedding packages. They are beautiful and I love presenting them to clients! They're the perfect place to store your wedding pictures.

Can't wait to send some more packages out!

Sarah & Pino | Forever Love

We've been to many weddings. Some choose to wed in a garden, a beach, or a church. This time, Sarah and Pino chose to marry in a pub, but just not any old pub - The Post Office Hotel in Coburg.

It's art deco style suited Sarah and Pino to a tee. It's rustic floorboards, matched with retro wallpaper provided the most perfect backdrop for their wedding. And, lucky it was indoors too.

The morning of Sarah and Pino's wedding it was drizzling. We'd scheduled to take photos before the ceremony at the Coburg Lake, so when it began to pour we still went ahead with our plans! I love how Sarah and Pino still smiled and laughed, even though we were getting a little damp from the weather. It literally got worse as the morning went on. Luckily, we all had umbrellas!

Both Sarah and Pino's family and friends mean the world to them and it was beautiful to witness such an intimate ceremony inside The Hotel. Sarah was undoubtedly sparkling as she mingled through her guests in her silky smooth gown - made lovingly by Pino's mother.

My eyes began to well up during the speeches. Sarah's mother, who had passed away, wrote her a letter which was read out by Sarah's father. It was specially meant for her on her wedding day. The words in the letter took my breath away and I could see it meant so much to Sarah. It was beautiful.

Right after the speeches the rain eased off and we wandered outside for more photos. We loved being apart of this special couples day and hope you enjoy the photos.
