The air was muggy, it was hot, but you could see the clouds coming...
We met Mario and his mates on the front lawn of his parents' place. He greeted us with the biggest smile and the warmest welcome. He was cool, unlike the weather.
When we started shooting though, you could tell he was getting a little nervous. I remember him saying "It's all becoming so real now..."
After arriving at the girls' place, you could feel the nerves floating around the house. Larissa and Mario's two girls were excited, but the youngest one was feeling a little under the weather. I was amazed as I watched Larissa not only get herself ready, but assist her two little kiddies in getting ready too.
The two held their ceremony at St. Joseph's Church in Cobram, followed by a beautiful reception at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort.
During the speeches, Larissa's dad, Mick, told that having a daughter between two boys is so very special to him. He joked how Larissa is his favourite & during the father and daughter dance you could really feel the love they have for one another.
Both Larissa and Mario's families are very close and it's beautiful to see all the emotions that come out on such a special day. I feel so lucky to have witnessed it all.
