This past week I was on the road... my job takes me to many places - it's one thing I love about it! When I was a little kid I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up... the only ting I knew was that I didn't want to be stuck inside all day, everyday - I wanted adventure!
It wasn't until I was in year 12 when I studied black and white photography. I learnt so much... my mind absorbed it all like a sponge & I fell in love. I still remember my teacher handing me an A+ for an assignment and noting on the report that I had a real photographer's eye. That's probably the moment when I thought I could do this forever! That was ultimately the turning point for me and I have never looked back.
Like I said - my job takes me to many places and this past week I did some work for Coast Magazine www.coastmagazine.net I got to travel around the country side, taking lots of photos and meeting lots of friendly people. On one of the days I traveled to a little town called Foster. It's surrounded by rolling green hills, and not far from the ocean. As I drove towards the town I was followed by a very dark rain cloud. Every time there was a break in the trees off the side of the road I had to look - the view was amazing! So, I had to stop and take a picture.
Whenever I'm on the road, I'm always stopping & taking photos along the way. If my husband is with me he gets a little annoyed sometimes (especially if we're running late!). But most times, he understands : )
