sweet smiles in sunny qld

It was time to kick off our shoes and wander down to the beach. It was time to feel the warm sand between our toes and breathe in the fresh, salty air. It was time to take photos of the lovely Jodie and her handsome man Brett and their beloved pet Zouma (or as I call him - Zoomie). 

The scene was set. We were in sunny Queensland, on beach, overlooking the Gold Coast Broadwater. 

Jodie, Brett and Zoomie often come to this spot. It's a place where people come to relax & walk their dogs. A place that Jodie absolutely loves. She use to live in Victoria, but for the past couple of years has found her place on the Gold Coast - she is in love. Not only with the never-ending warm weather and her bright collection of indoor plants which thrive in the climate... she's in love with Brett and Zoomie. 

This is her home now and while all of us down in Victoria miss her dearly, when we see Jodie we see a lovely person glowing with happiness.

I absolutely love our dvd booklets! They're included in all of our wedding packages. They provide the perfect place to keep your dvd of images from your wedding day.

In our studio display book, we've used Myranda and Nathan's images.

a little getaway

Winter is still here. The rain clouds linger above my head and the bitter breeze flows past my face... What better time to head north - a place where it's always warm!

It was time to go and visit my very best buddy. She lives in QLD (lucky girl!). It was a spur of the moment decision to pack our bags and fly up, up and away. And, I didn't forget my camera either. 

I'd always promised my best buddy I'd take some family portraits for her and the time finally came around. (We will be posting their photos soon :) )

We enjoyed sight seeing, hanging around with our best mates and eating some scrumptious food! We were lucky enough to go to Mt Tamborine, where we got to see some beautiful things.
