Mandy and Paul came up with the most thoughtful gift idea for their parents - a family photo!
When I spoke to Mandy about what they were after, she explained they didn't want anything too fancy, or set up - they just wanted natural photos of them either on their family farm, or on the beach.
Since it was quite a hot day, we picked the beach & scheduled the photo shoot for the evening - right when the sun was going down. The air was warm, and the lighting was just right...
Just before we began I asked Mandy and Paul's kids if they'd ever had their photos professionally taken - they sighed and said "only school photos". I told them that this experience would be a lot more fun than school photos!
